This is a hack that uses the stand-alone StreamByter to feedback selected MIDI messages to the input to enable advanced control relationships that are not otherwise possible.

With the feedback, you can construct logic that takes in to account and affects control settings, MIDI input and output.

The layout has examples of new constructs possible with this feedback.

The pdf explains the hack and provides logic and annotated StreamByter code for the examples.



This layout also requires stand alone StreamByter, MIDI Fire, or another MIDI routing and filtering app.

JK: As we've discussed a lot this, this should be solvable 100% inside MD now with this feature in the new Beta for 2.330

Allow MIDI messages to feedback to MD (Sysex message must start with F0 00 01 7E 77)

Now native with 2.3300 Beta


Wrap around is now native with 2.3300 beta.  This version of the layout is updated to show how this works for beta testers.  This layout will NOT function in the current released version.
