How to Switch a MIDI Stream On and Off - MIDI Designer Q&A
How to Switch a MIDI Stream On and Off

MIDI Target Manufacturer(s):

This design shows a method to switch an Input MIDI Stream On and Off. In this example the Midi Stream is created by a foot pedal but can use a piston or switch. It requires Audeonics MidiFire iPad app to loopback specific midi messages from MDP's output to its input. Plug-In StreamByter Input Rules then control the input stream based on On/Off control buttons.
The layout is attached. See the YouTube video for operation and description.

Nice - always good to see you stretching the concepts of what can be done.
With this sort of hack, you could also implement something that emulates the switchable sub controls from another thread.
