I'd like to use my ipad as a second controller for traktor for effects etc. but as I dj around bars I don't have acces to their wifi. Is it possible to hardwire it in using a USB?

why not join the wifi of YOUR computer, join your network.
or adhoc, i believe there's a step by step on MD website
you don't join other people's wifi
