====== Subscriptions ======

MD 3.0 is now subscription-based. This was a difficult (and probably unpopular) decision, but we are self-funded and do need some small revenue stream to keep bringing you increased capability. If you bought MD 2.0 in June 2016, you have received 50+ updates at no additional cost. Many other music apps have come and gone - we want to keep bringing new capability as MIDI continues to evolve in its 40th year.

With the subscription, there are no additional in-app purchases. The prior IAPs are included in the subscription price.

  * After "purchasing" MDP3 on the App store, you get [one month] free use of all MDP3 features
  * After [one month], without an active subscription, MDP3 functionality is limited
    * No MIDI send / receive
    * Can only view Bank 1 tab 1 (L) and Bank 1 tab 2 (R)
    * or something else
  * Subscription
    * xx per month or yy annually
    * If you purchased MDP2 within the last 12 months, the free period is extended to one year from MDP2 purchase date

**Why are you forcing me to subscription?**

We are not.  You can continue to use the legacy version of MDP2.  
However, there are no updates planned for MDP2, and it will stop functioning at some point with Apple's continued technology advancement.
MDP3 users will have priority for support.  Assistance remains available via Q&A forums and FaceBook group.
