BOSS EQ-200 Program change, A B compare, momentary on/off, up/down memory select and level control. iPad layout
I found using the boss EQ 200 a bit frustrating to use, so I fixed it. There’s not a lot of midi control available. Standard On Off control via midi is weird on these devices, but EFX SW CC: works.
Direct access to a specific program number is not possible on the unit. If you want to go from program 3 to 50, you press a button 47 times. So a program change is the way to go.
Nothing too sophisticated, but now the EQ-200 is no longer collecting dust. It’s a nice device. I’m using it for keyboards and harmonica, but it’s great for any instrument, even guitars :) There are all kinds of software solutions, but CPU power starts running out at a certain point.
BOSS EQ-200 Firmware version 1.12 is required
