Awesome, thanks!!! Do you mind if I move the files to a safe place on the MIDI Designer servers and then edit your "question" to point there? It might take me a day.
Thanks! I wouldn't mind at all if you moved it to a safe place on the MIDI Designer servers...I would actually prefer it. I couldn't find (or figure out) how to upload the file as an attachment, so I just posted that link.

Do whatever you need to do. Just note that I did make a few small changes a couple of hours after I uploaded it, so you might want to download it again. The posted link is correctly associated with most recent version.
found out one of the knobs was dead...fixed and link updated.

please use 2013-Jan-26 version
migrating now
deadbeatsynesthete drop me a line to midiDR.com/contact so I can set you up with access to your files, please.
NOTE: I dropped a right answer there so that it shows up correctly in lists. #hackForNow
This is great!

Might I suggest adding a slider to set the MIDI sysex channel?
glad you like it!

i would love to be able to add that feature, but as it is right now the midi channel is actually part of the code for each individual knob...i made this prior to the last update so i'm not sure if i can change it. if there is a way to use variables as part of the sysex code and then assign a slider to that variable, i will definitely make that available.

sorry!
Check out Rainer's layout for the JX/MKS here:

He's added such a slider at the top.
ah, i see that. i was just tweaking with it, and it is definitely possible. it will just take a bit of time to go back and rework it (it works like i thought it would in my first comment)

if you can wait a little bit, i should have it done sometime in the next few days :)
layout updated, enjoy!
Thanks for this update, I'll be doing some marketing stuff around this shortly.
layout updated using channel changers?
yep, i used the channel changer feature to integrate with the
ysEx and make it easy to change what channel it's sending SysEx data too...works great! especially considering some JX-8P edit sliders are touchy and it may be hard to get to a specific channel
Awesome! Np with the update, I continue to update it as I think of something new and I'd feel bad not sharing it. Most recent version was just uploaded right now
THANK YOU!!!!
