This is awesome. We're a bit distracted trying to get in front of the iOS 7 bull right now, but we're excited to have this layout and will share about it soon.

Thank you!
uow awesome...
Hmm, the site doesn't seem to let me up-vote this. There are other DSS-1 capabilities I want to manage through MIDI, esp. waveform creation, but this would be a great start.
Hey Kaledic, I'll look into that. Thank you for mentioning, as we get VERY little feedback on the site itself (which can't be good ;))
As far as I know this includes everything that can be controlled, if there's anything else please let me know, I'll gladly incorporate it. It's all sysex too... Midi in those days was spotty but this makes it a whole new thing to program, so much easier, the worst part is the lack of complete real time control of every parameter. But regardless, I love this monster.
CRAZY excited to use this layout as I am getting a DSS-1 soon. Thank you!!!!!!! MIDI Designer really opens the power of old synths that often best modern offerings in sound character, but have wonky programming interfaces.

I wonder if it would be useful to make a list of things not controlled by the layout that must be done on the keyboard. There are probably a lot, but maybe I can do that in case it is useful to others.
