I'm glad to help, but we've been over this topic a lot. I'll steer you to the links if you cannot find anything via Google. Let me know if you have a look around and cannot find an answer. If you do, please answer your own question so others can benefit. Thanks
Answer is usually that you need to use a 14 bit type for the super and get the number of ticks spot on
14-bit supercontrol never did work for me. I also tried a few of the suggestions that I found in the forum which did not work. The only way that I could make it work is to limit the number of sequential subcontrols to two with a supercontrol. This approach does not have the issues I mentioned above as well as the other post I've discovered.

Taking two separate sets of the above, i.e. 2 sequential subcontrols and one supercontrol and linking them to a master supercontrol allowed me to create on slider for 4-banks / 512 program changes
So, so to repeat the problem as simply as possible, you've got four knobs/sliders with how many values each? Then I'll see if I can cook up a complete example for you.
128 values per slider

The issues occur on value 128 and value 1 of the next slider. The transition is what appears to confuse the supercontrol when more than two subs are used.
so an example with 3 sliders and 128 values for each would be sufficient?
Yes.

FYI, I even found an example in the forum with 3 knobs and how to calculate the total value for the super. It never did work for me.
1) send me a link to what you found 2) let me cook up an example first 3) any problems you find with overlap can be resolved by adding extra named ticks, or even taking them away on the subcontrols.
FYI, I tried adding and removing values on the sub's as well as the super. At times I received inconsistent results.
Byron so you're saying that following the example provided in 5329 exactly, you can't get that example to work? Thanks.
That's correct. I had my slider set to Bank/Program Change. Not sure that would make a difference.
sorry, slider is super or slider is subcontrol?
Slider used on sub and super
