Short answer: yes. MIDI Designer Lite unlocked is identical to Pro.

The only differences is that the Pro Unlock can be purchased for just iPad and/or just iPhone/iPod touch. Buying MIDI Designer Pro gives you both devices for a minimal discount (less than one US dollar at present).

In terms of functionality, release cycles and support, an unlocked version of Lite is identical to Pro in every way.

The Pro icon is slightly different.

I'm confused.
If I click on the Lite bar, there is a version offered to me that gets rid of the lite bar for $2.99. (is that called the "unlock version"?
MD Pro is $24.99. So, even if I purchase 2 of the "unlock" versions, one for the iPhone, one for the iPad, it still is much cheaper than the "Pro" version.

What am I missing?
Never mind. I just realized that the iPad version costs more than the iPhone version. Thought they were both the same! My bad.
Perfect, thanks!
