Hi and thanks for this. This is very cool. Can you explain a buckethead kill switch a bit? Also, is the second paragraph a set of captions for your Photobucket stuff? Thank you.

Best!
Dan
ha.  word... second paragraph is confusing.  It because, at first, I was going to insert the pics into my post in the said order but decided I might as well organize myself a bit and get stuff online and accessible.  Then I logged into photobucket for the first time in a long time and got into their new stream thing... anyway.  A 'Buckethead Kill Switch' from my understanding is basically the worst name for what it actually is as when he pushes in on a button (that springs back to an off state once released), the 'Kill Switch' makes a noise. Somehow pushing the button sends a signal or something.. I'm not a luthier... that triggers the pickups to produce the notes being played only when the button is being punched.  But its tight because it makes really defined, crisp sounds... almost techy-electronic to me.  My favorite example of him just going to town on his Kill Switch mod is linked right here in his song "Jordan."  Its also one of my favorite things to listen to in general and I can't seem to find a song named "Jordan" anywhere produced on a album he's associated with... think he only does it live.. thanks... I'll probably get lost in hours of BucketHead's videos now! He's the man and never has to say shit! (**if the switch makes a noise.. how does it handle open notes??? or differentiate between strings?? dunno**)

Thanks Rob. So basically this is "hey check out what I'm doing, it's awesome" (it is, I just tweeted a link to your photobucket). Then, as an add-on, we have "Hey does anyone know how to create this type of effect in Live or GR?"
Thanks man.  Exactly... but I barely mention MIDI Designer Pro anywhere which basically got me playing, eventually various INSTRUMENTS in the first place when it came out.  Its made me fascinated with everything MIDI connection... because it can manipulate everything MIDI...

But yes, I wanted to showcase what I have done with your stuff over the last year that basically introduced me and made me proficient with guitar rig and LIVE, for one... also just generally got me 100% more interested and involved with playing music.. and try to tackle how to maybe replicate a software-based Kill Switch for the time being.
Okay, looks great. If you could insert the words MIDI Designer on some of those shots (like in the caption somehow), that would help me. Regarding the buckethead kill switch, I'll see if I can round up some guitarists to look at this, but these forums are relatively low traffic compared to NI's forums, or any guitar forums, so you might want to repost there.

Thanks again for sharing!
Dan
