Where It All Begins

MIDI Designer is the result of over a year and a half of slow, iterative development in iOS. It fixes a lot of the problems that we’ve encountered with hardware, while also adding capabilities that hardware can only dream about every time it goes fishing.

We still continue to revisit the app for areas of improvement. For example, early reviews indicated that the 1.0 UI was “hard on the eyes,” but we quite liked it. So we took out the graphic design tools and reduced the ugliness by a factor of 10 (while increasing usability, and even this do-over may need another rework soon). We’re working through all this stuff, and learning as we go. We hope you agree we’re on the right track. And we really hope that you can give us some helpful suggestions! ┬áHave fun, express yourself, and let us know what you think.

Thanks for checking out MIDI Designer.
